Methodology
How these numbers are built.
Gold spot rates are the live Kitco gold ask per troy ounce, converted to a per-gram value for each karat using the standard alloy purity (10K 0.4170, 14K 0.5830, 18K 0.7500, 22K 0.9170) and the exact troy ounce of 31.1034768 grams — the same conversion Clazoire's quote engine uses. Per-piece figures are gold-CONTENT material value only: each piece's published gold weight multiplied by the spot per-gram rate. They exclude diamonds, labour, finishing, and margin, so they are the value of the metal in the piece, not a wholesale price. Rates are dated to the spot capture shown below.

As of August 15, 2026, the live gold spot is $4377.60 per troy ounce, which works out to $82.05 per gram of 14K gold. We publish the per-gram rate for 10K, 14K, 18K, and 22K, converted from the Kitco gold ask using standard alloy purity and the exact troy ounce of 31.1034768 grams — the same conversion our quote engine uses.
Divide the gold ask per troy ounce by 31.1034768 grams to get the pure-gold per-gram rate, then multiply by the karat's purity — 0.4170 for 10K, 0.5830 for 14K, 0.7500 for 18K, and 0.9170 for 22K. That gives the spot value of one gram of each alloy.
Across our representative catalog pieces, the gold-content value ranges from about $143.59 on a sub-2-gram minimalist pendant to about $4309.43 on a 50-gram-plus statement piece, at 14K spot as of August 15, 2026.
